Wild Target

Man, that BILL NIGHY is a freakin star. I had suspected so after his turn as Simon Pegg’s hilarious, zombified step-dad in Shaun of the Dead, he's been in some terrible films since, but Wild Target confirms it.
Nighy plays Victor, a 55 year old hitman. He disappoints a client (RUPERT EVERETT, The Importance of Being Earnest) when he can’t bring himself to hit con-artist Rose (EMILY BLUNT, The Young Victoria, The Wolfman). A replacement killer (MARTIN FREEMAN, The Office) and an accidental sidekick (RUPERT GRINT, Ron from the Harry Potters) complete the wackily off-kilter ensemble and hijinks ensue.
It’s all fairly standard and not terribly imaginative right down to the Benny Hill-style score playing over the Mini Minor car chase. But Bill Nighy? The guy’s a freaking star.
