I love ZACH GALIFIANAKIS, and I love ROBERT DOWNEY JNR. They have never sucked more than in this film.
Downey Jnr has to make it across the country quickly to get home in time for the birth of his son. Because of an incident involving an air marshall and rubber bullets, he is now on the no-fly list. So is Galifianakis, who has hired a car and is on his way to Hollywood to break into the big time. Odd couple hijinks ensue.
The set up is neither rational enough to be believeable nor outrageous enough for it not to matter, neither of the characters are at all likeable, none of the jokes are funny. That doesn’t leave much except for a mildly interesting cameo from JULIETTE LEWIS, which really? ain’t a whole lot.
